Learning to drift in Nitro District without spinning out
Nitro District rewards drifting, but for my first hour I was just spinning into walls. The fix was slowing down before the corner and letting the slide do the work instead of forcing it.
Boost timing changed everything. Save it for straights after a clean drift rather than mashing it mid-corner. You build a rhythm where each good slide feeds the next boost.
Steering method is personal. I went with tap steering for tight tracks and tilt for the open ones, and switching between them per track shaved real time off my laps.
Spend a little time in the garage too. Tuning grip up slightly made the canyon tracks far less punishing while I was still learning them.
