Big Bass Studio

Big Bass Studio surprised me. On the surface it's a fishing game, but the real hook is the studio you build up between trips out on the water. You cast, you reel, you bring back your catch, and then you spend that at your little workshop deciding what to craft and display next. The loop is gentle and never rushes you.

Controls are about as simple as they get: pull back to cast, tap to set the hook, and a light drag rhythm to reel in without snapping the line. Bigger fish put up more of a fight, and there's a satisfying tension bar you learn to read after a couple of sessions. I liked that the difficulty comes from timing, not from grinding.

What kept me coming back was the studio management side. Arranging your gear, unlocking new lures, and slowly turning a bare shack into something you're proud of gives the calm fishing a point. It's a good game for short breaks, and it respects your time.
